⁴⁴ The Lord gave them rest all around, in fulfillment of everything that he had sworn to their fathers. Not one person out of all their enemies had withstood them. The Lord had given all their enemies into their hands. ⁴⁵ Not one promise out of all the good promises that the Lord had promised to the house of Israel failed.^[a] They all came true!
